Single-ply Membrane Installation

"Single-ply" is a class of flexible sheets of compounded synthetic materials that are manufactured in a factory under strict quality control. Single-ply roof systems provide all-round strength, flexibility, and long-lasting durability, yet they can still vary in aesthetic or strength. At Springfield Roofing Systems, our team offers expert membrane installation and is familiar with all of the following options.

TPO

Thermoplastic Polyolefins (TPO) are blends or alloys of polypropylene plastic or polypropylene and ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) or ethylene propylene diene terpolymer rubber (EPDM). A common and appealing commercial option for roofs with little slope, TPO is extremely durable and comes in varying thicknesses.

TPO is an especially reliable choice.

PVC

Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) is an ideal long-term solution because it is made of thick, flexible UV-resistant thermoplastic material, produced by a chemical reaction, known as polymerization. It can contain polyester or fiberglass, resins, pigments, plasticizers, and other chemicals and is often used on commercial buildings.

PVC roofing offers a lasting option that can withstand the sun's effects.

EPDM

Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer is a synthetic rubber roofing membrane composed mostly of ethylene and propylene, which are derived from oil and natural gas.

EPDM roofing is an excellent option for durability.

Duro-Last

The Duro-Last vinyl roof membrane is an incredibly durable thermoplastic, watertight system that is highly reflective, resistant to chemicals, fire and high winds as well as virtually maintenance-free.

Sheet Metal Installation

Primarily made of steel or aluminum, metal roofs have proven almost invincible due to a combination of copper, zinc, and titanium. Though metal roofing is one of the most expensive options, it is considered the strongest and most durable roofing material. If you have questions about sheet metal installation or would like to schedule a quote, check out our Contact Us page and feel free to contact our sheet metal expert Larry Lovercamp.

Corrugated

Corrugated roofs are folded to produce ridges and grooves, giving them their name and increasing the tensile strength of a material. Sheets of corrugated metal are overlapped to ensure waterproofing. This metal option is popular for its lightweight, yet strong composition and lasts longer than shingle roofing.

Corrugated roofing provides a strong, waterproof solution.

Standing-Seam Metal Roofing

Standing Seam metal roofs often have panels that run vertically up the roof like a seam. Their prominent visual feature is the raised interlocking seam, which joins one panel to the next, ensuring waterproofing while also being aesthetically unique.

Standing-seam metal roofs prevent water leakage and are visually appealing.

New Shingles Installation

Perfect for an at-home feel, shingles are cost-efficient, durable roofing material made with a base mat of paper, cellulose, wood fiber, or other materials that are saturated with asphalt to make it waterproof. After it is given a top coating of adhesive asphalt, ceramic granules are embedded which give it small specs of sparkles in the sunlight. Our Team of experts are happy to help you select the shingles for your perfect fit.

Shingles offer a strong yet cost-effective roofing option.

Paver Systems

A Paver System is an interlocking brick paving system that can be found on driveways, patios, pool decks, walkways, streetscapes and roadways. It can also be installed on roofs so that people do not walk on and damage the membrane. Springfield Roofing Systems offers a variety of paving options.
